Enable the SMTP Server option Retries include each MX attempt if you wish to include each MX mail server connection attempt as part of the total retries when sending mail.
If this option is off, one attempt include all the MX records for a particular site domain.
Enable this option if you wish to speed up the rejection/bouncing of mail.
