Direct COM-Port access
If you create a modem profile beginning with the word Null
(as in "Null Modem"), and assign it to a port, wcOnline will treat it as a direct serial port without an attached modem. Sending any data to the serial port will cause it to wake up and send the normal login sequence.
All fields in the modem profile should be left blank except the baud rate.
